Application Timeline

For the 2027–2028 academic year, the application deadline is 15 January 2027 (2:00 PM CET). University entrance examinations are generally conducted between March and May, while final scholarship results are announced around June or early July. 1. Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship

The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme is the Hungarian Government's flagship international scholarship scheme. Managed by the Tempus Public Foundation, it supports thousands of students from eligible partner countries every year to study at leading Hungarian universities.

Merit Scholarships

Several universities reward outstanding academic performance with tuition fee reductions, financial awards, or academic grants

Some institutions offer partial tuition waivers for high-performing applicants or continuing students who maintain excellent results.
